Students at North Carolina Wesleyan College can find help with writing assignments and other projects that require using supporting sources in many ways

Where can you find help?

  • Your professors - they are expert researchers who know how to use and cite sources. NOTE: If a student can find information on the web and copy and paste it into their assignment to pass it off as their own, you can be sure that an expert researcher like a college professor can find that same info no matter where it exists on the internet.
  • The Writing Lab - expert help with writing is available for all NCWC students. The writing lab specializes in working one-on-one with students to improve their writing skills. If you need help with spelling, grammar, and of course, citing information sources, visit the writing lab, make an appointment, or even submit your paper via email:
Visit the Writing Lab website: http://annex.ncwc.edu/writing_lab/
  • Pearsall Library - students often don't realize it, but professional librarians are expert academic researchers who can help students with writing papers and citing sources. Librarians can work with you by appointment, email, or phone.

  • NCKNOWS - a free chat-based place to find answers. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
