Slideshow about the QEP & G.I.S.T
(Powerpoint)
NCWC's QEP Committeehas worked since May, 2008, to design a plan
that will help students develop an ability to
find, critically evaluate, and ethically use
information in an information society.
GIST Courses seek to:
Enhance student
learning
by creating coursework opportunities
that change information-seeking and
use behaviors
Change student
perceptions
of information tasks as linear
constructs by replacing this
perception with a process approach
that requires topic definition,
critical evaluation, analysis,
organization, and ethical decision
making in the use of information.
