College 101:
College 101 began in earnest again at NC Wesleyan in 2006/2007. This course was a logical place for research to happen. All freshmen students are required to take this class in the fall. The librarians were able to develop an introductory research assignment that each COL 101 instructor assigns, as well as "Library Day" where the instructors and students come to the library for a seminar. Instructors found it beneficial to assign the research homework in close proximity to the Library Day. |
